The WB Scribbler finally learned over the holidays how to post a new webring link, and now we are up on the Scouting Webring too, surfing the internet ethers with the best Scouting sites around the world! We're so happy with ourselves, we plan to take our favorite Wood Badge critter (Eagle) to lunch and celebrate!

We are pleased to present here a blog by the Wood Badge Scribbler, a.k.a. Donald Tuttle, humble Assistant Scribe of the Wood Badge Course NE-3-188, held at Henderson Scout Reservation, August 21-23 and September 18-20, 2009.

Gilwell Weather or Not Forecasters' Association
The Gilwell Weather or Not Forecasters' Association has asked that the following standing weather forecast be posted on our blogsite. To this request, we have complied, see below:
Standing Weather Forecast for Gilwell Ground Zero (Henderson Scout Reservation, Maryland, NY)
We have checked with our weather supplier, and are happy to announce there will be a generous supply of various kinds of weather available for the duration of the course. If the weather you are experiencing at the moment is not to your liking, please wait a minute or two until it changes before you start complaining!
A wide range of temperatures will be available, and precipitation is guaranteed, if only in the showerhouse.
Remember: "It never rains at Crumhorn, but if you can't see your hand in front of your face, it might just be a heavy dew!"
